Sustainability

At AMRMA, sustainability means making conscious choices at every step — from using recycled metals to sourcing responsibly and minimising waste. We’re committed to transparency, progress, and creating jewellery that reflects both style and values.

Our Commitment

At AMRMA, we are committed to making conscious choices at every stage — from sourcing recycled metals to ensuring ethical craftsmanship. Our goal is to create jewellery that not only adorns but also aligns with our values of responsibility and transparency.

Achieving 100% sustainability is a complex challenge, but we believe in taking meaningful steps forward. Our current partners are selected for their alignment with AMRMA’s values — including ethical standards, responsible production, and a commitment to ongoing improvement. We prioritise the use of recycled metals and responsibly sourced materials wherever possible.

Product

We are committed to crafting jewellery that embodies both elegance and environmental responsibility. Our pieces feature 18K thick gold plating over a durable brass base, combining timeless design with conscious material choices.

The 18k gold used in our plating is 100% recycled, sourced from suppliers accredited by the Responsible Jewellery Council. This ensures that our gold meets rigorous ethical and environmental standards, minimizing environmental impact.

Our jewellery is crafted on a brass base that is recycled, lab-tested, and compliant with international safety standards. This allows us to maintain high-quality finishes while offering a more sustainable product.

Packaging

We believe packaging should be as thoughtful as the jewellery it holds. That’s why our boxes are crafted from recyclable paperboard that meets international sustainability standards, with a soft protective insert and a minimalist, plastic-free design.

Each order also comes with a reusable cotton canvas bag, a lasting alternative to single-use pouches. For select pieces, we use silk, satin, or cloth pouches that are designed to be cherished and reused.

Our packaging is made to be beautiful, responsible, and kind to the planet.

Our Manufacturing Partner

Our jewellery is crafted in partnership with a family-owned business with decades of expertise in fine jewellery making. Their artisans bring a hands-on approach to every piece, combining precision, care, and respect for traditional craftsmanship.

Just as importantly, they share our values of responsibility and sustainability. The atelier is certified by the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC), and holds internationally recognised ISO certifications for quality and environmental management. They are also participants in the UN Global Compact and have achieved outstanding results in independent workplace and ethical trade audits, scoring highly across labour standards, health & safety, and environmental performance.

Together, we are committed to creating jewellery that reflects not just design, but purpose — with people, craft, and sustainability at its core.
